
Pacquiao support Star Billiard Center 10-ball tilt

AFTER hosting numerous local and international billiards tournaments, Senator Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao, the former eight-division world champion and an avid billiards benefactor,
is hosting an event at the famous Star Billiard Center at 46 Joy street, Grace Village, Quezon City.
The 10-ball Handicapping event, to be held November 20 to 26, 2107, offers a P40,000 champion?s purse while the second placer will pocket P20,000. The third to fourth placers will get P10,000 each while the 5th to 8th placers will receive P6,000 each. The 9th to 16th places will go home empty-handed with a consolation P2,000 each for their efforts.
According to long-time billiard patron Sebastian "Baste" Chua, the owner of famous Star Billiard Center which the facility that boasts of 36 tables, the mode of play is a winners break format.
Star Billiard Center is the home of the Filipino World Billiards champions in the likes of Efren "Bata" Reyes, Francisco "Django" Bustamante, Alex "The Lion" Pagulayan, Carlo "The Cool" Biado, Ronnie "Calamba" Alcano, Lee Vann "The Slayer" Corteza, Jeffrey "The Bull" de Luna, Roberto "Superman" Gomez, Jeffrey Ignacio, Jonas Magpantay, Ramon "Maestro Monching" Mistica, among others.
