Trainer Edmund Villamor said they pair him against Hayashi to see if Magsayo is ripe for a world title shot. Magsayo is currently ranked No. 2 featherweight by the WBO. ?Hayashi is an unpredictable opponent, he can slug and box at the same time and he is a busy fighter who has a style which for us is a fitting test if Magsayo is ready for a world title shot,? said Villamor. The 29-year old Hayashi defeated world title challenger Akifumi Shimoda to claim the Japan featherweight title.

Another part of "SuperFly" is set to take place in the early part of 2018 on HBO. The first edition of this series took place on September 9th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The main event featured the rematch of Srisaket Sor Rungvisai who knocked Roman Gonzalez out in four rounds in defense of his WBC belt. There were speculations that "Chocolatito" may retire but there is a great possibility that he will fight on "SuperFly 2."

Tom Loeffler, the lead promoter for SuperFly, said that they are discussing with Akihiko Honda to have Gonzalez in "Superfly 2." When asked about the date for this card, Loeffler told BoxingScene: "It looks like February of next year, we're finalizing what other fights will be on the show. The main event will be Rungvisai versus (Juan Francisco) Estrada and we're just looking at the other fights." Estrada defeated Carlos Cuadras last September for a title fight with Rungvisai.

Loeffler told BoxingScene the event has become a very popular brand for boxing, especially in the lighter weight division. "A lot of people have expressed interest worldwide to be on the show because it's a great platform for that weight division which has been over-looked by the boxing media for a long time," he said. He added the fighters who showed interest are Jerwin Ancajas, the Arroyo brothers, McJoe and McWilliams, Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, Carlos Cuadras, Brian Viloria, and Kal Yafai.

He joined Wilt Chamberlain as the only two players to score 3,000 points in a season, averaging a league high 37.1 points on 48.2% shooting.

In addition to his magnificent offense, Jordan also showed his defensive prowess, as he became the first player in NBA history to record 200 steals and 100 blocked shots in a single season. Despite Jordan's successes, Magic Johnson won the league's Most Valuable Player Award. The Bulls reached 40 wins, and advanced to the playoffs for the third consecutive year.
