THE BATTLE OF LEYTE GULF BOXING SHOWDOWN

In line with the celebration of the 72nd Leyte Landing Anniversary, an Open/Invitational Boxing Tournament was held at Robinsons Place Activity Area in Tacloban City last October 20. The boxing card was dubbed "The Battle of the Leyte Gulf." There were 17 featured boxing bouts held in the biggest shopping mall of the Region of Eastern Visayas.
Here are the complete results:
Kids Division
Ryan Ortega (Leyte Sports Academy - LSA) WUD vs. Jake Laurence Reponte (Ormoc City) - 32 kg.
Joshua Indic (Tanauan, Leyte), 2016 Batang Pinoy Visayas Leg gold medalist, WSD vs. Cris Carlos Emnas (LSA), 2016 Palarong Pambansa athlete - 38 kg.
School Boys Division
