IT could be too early for Jeff Horn to start training for his rematch with the legendary Manny Pacquiao. But trainer Glenn Rushton, who has not gotten full credit for the great upset victory scored by his prized ward, has explained they would be ready for a stronger version of the Filipino boxing superhero.
They could only expect a revitalized crownless Pacquiao to report for the rematch.

?It?s business and they?re trying to salvage the brand,? Rushton told World Boxing News editor Phil D. Jay in an exclusive interview.

Does he therefore plan any major adjustment?

?It will all depend on how he (Pacquiao) attacked his revenge bid on the night.?

What went wrong with Pacquiao last July 2?

?Manny Pacquiao is still brilliant. A great man, a brilliant boxer.?

**

Where did he fault?

?I told them ahead to bring in their A-game and to have no excuses if they lost, although we still expected the excuses. It was probably not Manny, but he has many people giving him advice. I understand where they?re coming from, although it?s still very disappointing.?

Do you plan any new approach?

?I approach each fight as a unique event. It?s a game of chess, and I play to win. I approach every fight as a unique event. I will review everything again and decide on what needs adjusting.?

Rushton said he was quite pleased with Horn.

?People just don?t appreciate how good Jeff Horn is. Rather than praise Jeff, they run down Pacquiao. Look, if he had knocked out Jeff, they?d say he?s as good as ever.?

Will Horn beat Pacquiao again the second time around?

?Of course, there?s one opponent who?s unbeatable?Father Time. In the end, he beats everyone.?

Rushton said he sees Horn being vindicated against doubters.

?Whether Pacquiao?s desire is gone who knows, but he was beaten on the day by a great boxer that will eventually be vindicated, as rest assured we want the big fights.?
