M'LANG, NORTH COTABATO--Glenn Porras and Edren Dapudong of the Braveheart Boxing Stable retained their respective WBO Asia Pacific Youth titles with contrasting wins over their Indo opponents last night at the jampacked Mlang Gym here.

Porras started strong early, but Rivo Rengkung somehow managed to weather the storm as the fight went to the scorecards for a unanimous decision win for the local boy.

Dapudong, however, looked brilliant in stopping the stocky Jack Amisa with a big right for a third-round technical knockout win.

With their wins, both Porras and Dapudong have been assured by WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo of better placement in the next WBO ratings.

The event was presented by Mlang Mayor Lito Pinol and the town's local government, as well as Congressman Jun Pinol, Vice-Governor Manny Pinol, Mayor Efren Pinol and Chicago's Rolando Hiso.

The rest of the results are as follows: Reynaldo Belandres by TKO3 over Reggie Binueza; Rolando Magbanua by UD over Romnick Rapista; Lorenzo Villanueva by KO1 over Danny Logramonte; Ronelle Fererras by UD over Rommel Asenjo; Dino Lilis by Maj. Decision over Ronnie Apelado; and Jernel Javel by UD over Rannie Pamatian.
