TAGBILARAN - The San Antonio Spurs won Game 5 via overtime on Tuesday night, 110-107, to take a 3-2 lead over the Houston Rockets in their tightly-contested Western Conference semifinals.

Kawhi Leonard injured his left ankle late in the fourth quarter and did not play in the extra session, but he still led the Spurs with 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Jonathon Simmons filled in for Leonard and did not disappoint with 12 points and three steals while doing a spectacular job covering Rockets star James Harden, who turned the ball over thrice in overtime.

Manu Ginobili, 39, had a throwback performance, drilling 12 points with 7 rebounds and 5 dimes. Ginobili capped his splendid performance with a block on Harden's 3-point shot at the buzzer.

Harden led the Rockets with a triple-double, 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He also had 9 turnovers.

San Antonio's Danny Green and Patty Mills combined for nine 3-pointers with Mills finishing with 20 points while Green carded 16. LaMarcus Aldridge contributed 18 markers and 14 boards for the Spurs.
