Fresh off his scintillating performance at the World Cup of Boxing in Sacramento, California, reigning RP bantamweight champion Michael Domingo will defend his title on October 13 against ex-WBC International champion Roger Galicia in Calape, Bohol.

This will be a grudge rematch of their 2006 showdown which saw Domingo the winner via ninth-round technical knockout. This time, Galicia has vowed to exact revenge against the Cebu-based fighter.

Domingo is credited for what was easily the least-expected victory by a Filipino at the August 11 World Cup, where he easily shut out previously undefeated Miguel Roman for a one-sided unanimous decision win.

RP junior welter champ Mark Jason Melligen also sees action in the card in a non-title bout against Dondon Lapuz, while local boy Ricky Sismundo takes on journeyman Janrey Verano.

The rest of the card pits Romeo Jakosalem against Lotlot Gaviola; Joseph Omanz versus Richard Agagad; Jestoni Borres versus Ramil Balbaguio; James Bacon against Tata Ramuga; and Joseph Von Minoza versus Renan Branzuela.
