Jimrex 'The Executioner' Jaca will get the chance to redeem himself from nasty stories about his abilities when he collides once again with Japanese Ryu Miyagi in a ten-round battle on November 15 as part of the 45th Annual WBC Convention.
Jaca recently became the butt of jokes among fight fans following his so-so performance against Miyagi last August 25 in Manila where he was knocked down twice in the first round but came back to deck the Japanese in the dying seconds of the round.
The rematch will provide Jaca the chance to prove he is not on a downhill trend.
"The rematch is something the fans are looking forward to with great interest. The first fight was fireworks, the rematch should be war," said promoter Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who is closely coordinating with the Games and Amusements Board regarding the fight card that will also involve two RP championship battles.
RP superfeatherweight champion Dodie Boy Agrabio will defend his title against Manny Pacquiao sparmate Aaron Melgarejo in the night's co-main event.
In the co-feature, RP superbantamweight king Jake Verano will defend his title for the first time against former amateur standout Roel Laguna of the Rex 'Wakee' Salud Stable.
