Newly-crowned World Boxing Organization (WBO) bantamweight champion Gerry 'Fearless' Pe?alosa has appealed to all the concerned parties not to blow up the 'child support' issue thrown at him from a previous marriage.
Pe?alosa made this request after his daughter from his first wife, in an interview with local radio station dyAB Abante Bisaya recently, aired his gripes regarding his failure to provide them the necessary financial assistance.
Pe?alosa said he loved his children so much that he would never turn his back away from them.
Pe?alosa said he kept on boxing despite his age because of his children and that he shared with them parcel of his earnings from his fights.
When pressed by Castillejo if what he gave is sufficient enough for the needs of his children, Pe?alosa answered: "Di ko alam kung sabihin nila nagkukulang po ako pero ginagawa ko yung lahat ng makakaya ko dahil mahal ko talaga sila."
Pe?alosa hopes and pray this issue will be stopped because his children are in the losing end here, even as he vowed to do everything to provide a better and decent living for his children.
