
BRAWL fight back at The District

BACOLOD CITY -- Promising mixed martial artists in the country are expected to see action in the BRAWL (Bacolod Raw Amateur Warrior?s League) Rumble at The District on August 20 of Ayala Mall in Talisay City.
Featured in the main event is 25-year-old Dave ?Speedy? Gonzalez (2-1) of the Leverage Bacolod who will be defending his territory in the bantamweight division against undefeated Fritz Estrella (3-0) of Cage MMA Iloilo.
In a press conference, both fighters promised to give the crowd a great fight, adding that these kinds of tournaments are their stepping stones to become professional fighters.
Also seeing action for the main undercard in the featherweight category are undefeated 26-year-old Raje Fama (3-0) of Leverage Bacolod taking 27-year-old Dharyl Rodis (2-2) of Legacy Gym Boracay.
Some surprised fighters in this tournament are former boxers Jake Servania of Fight Club Bacolod and Juren Labordo of Jak Fitness Gym ? who despite a promising career in boxing, they opted to take a more physical sports.
Servania, the younger brother of undefeated WBO International bantamweight champion Genesis Servania, will face Nino Rio Saoy of Mactan Combat Sports Cebu in the 130-139 lbs catch weight.
Labordo, on the other hand, will clash against Christian Rabut of Cage MMA Iloilo in the Straw weight category.
Completing the fight cards include: bantamweight ? Ramboo Galleto (Mactan Combat Sports) vs. Rufino ?Noypi? Mante (Legacy Gym Boracay); featherweight ? Edmar Perez (NOFK) vs. Roben Jaculde (Tigers Gym Bacolod); and flyweight ? Renz Orcada of Jak Fitness having his debut against Janrhie Solis of Cage MMA Iloilo.
Lead organizer Nacho Zayco that for more than a decade, BRAWL has actively promoting this event in the province and has produced some elite fighters in the Universal Fight Championships and some MMA tournaments in the country.
