Following the departure of Justin Fortune, Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California has a new conditioning coach who will take care of the boxers' stamina and strength problems.

London's Ola Afolabi, a former cruiserweight fighter very close to superstar Manny Pacquiao as well as the other Filipino fighters and known at Wild Card as 'Mr. Boxercise,' is now the new conditioning coach replacing Fortune, who decided to sever ties with Roach to handle his own gym.

Afolabi is also a perennial sparring partner to heavyweight James Toney at the Wild Card Gym.

This morning, 'Ola' was supervising the early run of Gerry Penalosa and Diosdado 'Prince' Gabi at the Griffith Park.

As a fighter, Ola had lost only once in 12 fights, and in his last fight stopped former WBA world cruiserweight champin Orlin Norris in the seventh round in 2005. It was also Norris' last fight.
