Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) lightweight king Randy 'Komong Bato' Suico is slated to defend his title against mandatory challenger Koji Samejima on August 25 in Cebu.

This was bared yesterday by promoter Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who is putting up the event which will pit Filipino fighters against Japanese prospects.

The 27-year-old Suico (26-3, 22 KO's) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Tomonori Nakagawa to retain his title in Osaka, Japan last April 23 in a choice defense.

Samejima (15-1-1, 6 KO's), from Osaka, Japan is considered a bright prospect from the Green Tsuda Promotions, although he will be fighting in just his first overseas bout.

Also seeing action on the card is Jimrex 'The Executioner' Jaca, who will take on Japanese Ryu Miyagi in a ten-round brawl.

Jaca (28-3-1, 13 KO's) holds the WBO Asia Pacific superfeatherweight title and is being promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Miyagi (16-1-2, 12 KO's) holds a technical knockout win over former world champion Yoddamrong Sithyodthong of Thailand.

Another Salud protege seeing action is Wyndel Janiola, who will duke it out against Japanese Hiroyuki Hisataka, another protege of the Green Tsuda Promotions.

Hisataka (15-5-1, 5 KO's) holds victories over Filipinos Bert Batawang (TKO2) and Federico Catubay (UD), although he has dropped his last two fights by decision.
