STAPLES CENTER, LA -- Former super lightweight world champion Danny Garcia outpointed former two-time world champion Robert Guerrero over 12 rounds to capture the vacant WBC welterweight title Saturday night here. All three judges, Max DeLuca, Rey Danseco and Steve Weisfeld, gave identical scores of 116 to 112 in Garcia's favor.
