The official weigh-in for tomorrow's huge dual WBO Asia-Pacific championship takes place today starting at 11 AM at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.

Promoter Sammy Gello-ani informed that the protagonists will meet for the first time and get to size up each other in a special weigh-in at the Tin-Gow Private Room of the Waterfront Hotel.

Supervising today's weigh-in is WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo.

The two main event fighters, as well as the officials working on the bouts will grace today's weigh-in and the rules meeting set to follow thereafter.

In the main event, South Korea's Yong Sung Kim defends his WBO Asia Pacific junior welterweight title against Kongtoranee Por Surasak.

Kim is best remembered for being the first fighter to beat RP junior welter champ Mark Jason Melligen in their recent fight in Korea.

The co-feature will showcase WBO Asia Pacific minimumweight champion Donnie Nietes defending his title against rugged Thai Saenpetch Sor Sakulphan.

An exciting 12-rounder also takes place when ALA Boy Rocky Fuentes trades leathers with Wakee Salud protege Benedict Suico.

"Fuentes versus Suico has what it takes to pull the rug from under the two main events. This has Fight of the Year written all over it," said boxing judge Edward Ligas, who is looking forward to this explosive card.

Six more bouts, including the first-ever sanctioned women's professional bout in Cebu, spice up the three 12-round encounters.

Judith Subingsubing, Cebu's first professional woman fighter, takes on South Korea's Bo Young Kim in a four-round bout.
