Veteran Mark Anthony Geraldo, 24, stopped the winning streak of 19-year-old Jilbert Gomera scoring a technical knockout in the 6th round of a bloody fight in General Santos City Saturday night.

Geraldo, based in Valencia City, Bukidnon, survived a large and profusely bleeding cut over his right eye and scored three knockdowns in the tough fight before Referee Ronnie Mondejar stopped the fight in the 6th.

The exciting Geraldo-Gomera battle served as the climax of the night which marked the launching of "Blow By Blow Reloaded," a project of 8-division-world champion Manny Pacquiao who aims to discover new Filipino boxing talents.

Geraldo improved his record to 31 wins with 6 losses, 3 draws and 15 KOs.

It was the young Gomera's first loss in 11 professional fights.

But if it was any consolation, Gomera showed the heart of a future champion as he kept on coming back even when Geraldo had scored a stunning knockdown in the second round.

In other bouts, Jhaleel Payao of Cebu stopped Elvic Bicoy of Zamboanga del Sur in the 3rd round of a scheduled 8; Saltier Amit of Cebu stopped Ian Ligutan of Surigao del Sur in the 2nd while Jimboy Haya of Cebu scored a 6th round TKO over Bonjun Loperez of Bukidnon in three 8-round bouts.

Other results:

- Filjun Taneo of Cebu scores a 2nd round TKO over Ronel Toquero of Manila;

- Reynard Taday of Manila wins by Unanimous Decision over Joey Antonio of North Cotabato in 6 rounds;

- Joe Tejones wins by TKO in the 6th over Jay-Ar Aliasotof Cebu;

- Ernel Campano of Bukidnon and Alex Caoktoy of Cebu fought to a draw after 4 rounds;

- Joel Lino of Bukidnon wins by Unanimous Decision over Romeo Garde of North Cotabato in 4 rounds;

- Argie Lanuza wins over JImboy Vijano in 4 rds;

- Martin Paderogao wins over Annie Minor by KO in the 2nd of 4 rounds.

"Blow By Blow Reloaded" is hosted by Cong. Manny Pacquiao and sponsored by Black Mamba Energy Drink.

It will be show on TV5, the co-producer of the show, starting Dec. 13 at 2 p.m.
