Will they endure the furnace?
Both are knockout artists, but who will expose who to be just a con artist? David Lemieux is ?robotic,? a busy determined boxer in the ring who seems to approach every fight as though it?s his last. He unleashes volume of punches, tirelessly, until his foe is down and out.
An exciting fighter with precise body shots and vicious strikes to the head, the Canadian David will be an acid test for the heavily favored Kazakh Olympic medalist nicknamed ?god of war.? Power isn?t always might and giant Golovkin will have to show skills that transcend his perfect record before the boxing world versus the underdog Lemieux. Golovkin has the highest knockout percentage in the history of middleweight championship. With that, he needs no further introduction.
If Manny Pacquiao did to Floyd Mayweather Jr. what Lemieux has been doing to his opponents, Pacquiao could have easily won the super fight last May 2 and would have served the ?king? his devastating first loss. There have been suggestions of rematch from jerks. But will boxing be too foolish a sport to allow a repeat of the infamy?
The highlights of Lemieux fights will tell us he could have been the man instead of Pacquiao, and he could well be the boxer to defeat the unbeaten Golovkin if Golovkin would prove to be less than a star this Saturday night.
Gennady stings like a bee, but can he float like a butterfly?
