WBC no. 3 minimumweight Rodel 'Batang Mandaue' Mayol is just awaiting for the swift and timely action from the Games and Amusements Board before he can plan out his next career move.

In an e-mail sent to Philboxing.com after reading an earlier story posted by the website, Mayol indicated that while waiting for the GAB resolution of his earlier request to sever ties with his former manager, he has kept himself busy running, lifting weights, and hitting the heavy bags in Giorgia, USA.

"But I don't really have that much sparring here because the gym here does not have enough boxers and it is still new," said Mayol.

Mayol also informed that he got wind of his former stablemate Malcolm Tunacao suffering a career-threatening injury on his wrist, although he could not ascertain if the cut was so severe that would cut short Tunacao's career.

Tunacao, according to OPBF lightweight champ Randy Suico, had injured himself trying to punch some object in his house, which caused serious cuts on some arm nerves.

Mayol, meanwhile, has called on GAB Chairman Eric Buhain for some assistance for the early resolution of his complaint which he filed earlier so he could formally sever ties with Japanese manager Yasuo Matsuoka.
