World Boxing Foundation (WBF) welterweight champion Dondon 'Supremo' Sultan of SGG Stable is primed and ready for his titular defense on June 23 against Frenchman Hamza Issa in Calais, France.

Sultan's manager Sammy Gello-ani has informed that the fight has been moved to a later date from its original June 15 schedule and said this might even be good for his ward who is definitely keeping himself in shape for this fight.

Sultan, who will be accompanied in his trip by his manager Gello-ani and trainer Edmund Villamor has indicated that he is making sure that he comes out victorious in this fight, as he is looking to next take his act in the United States.

"I have been told by my manager that if I win, there is a strong chance that I will be fighting in the US, and that is enough motivation for me," Sultan said.

Sultan has just recently been issued a five-year visa by the US Embassy in Manila, and now looks forward to fighting in the US after he takes care of French challenger.

The 29-year-old Issa, who lives in Calais, holds the WBF Intercontinental title, and is riging high on a seven-bout unbeaten streak.

No less than WBF president Mick Croucher is flying to France to personally supervise the bout, said Gello-ani.
