CREEPING FEAR IN MAYWEATHER?S EYES?

LOS ANGELES ? ?Les yeux sont les fen?tres de l'?me," so said Georges Rodenbach, famous Belgian novelist & poet.
Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, just like Rodenbach, believes in the epigram ?Eyes are the window to the soul.?
Pacquiao said a man?s inner self or emotion can be figured out by just looking into his eyes.
Pacquiao has developed, over the years, this kind of cunning ability in sizing up the mental state of his foe.
He?s doing this either during the face off with an enemy or upon entering the ring before the duel starts.
He explained ?By merely looking straight into the eyes of my opponent, I can easily figure out if he is nervous or not.?
The eight-division boxing champ revealed this happened in almost all of his previous ring exploits except against Mexican warrior Juan Manuel Marquez.
The Filipino ring superstar said what he saw in the Aztec warrior?s eyes was nothing but a consuming ire and envy.
?I could see in his eyes that he hates me so much for knocking him down thrice during our first encounter and for handing him the defeat in our two succeeding fights,? Pacquiao said.
In his last three fights ? versus Brandon Rios, Timothy Bradley and Chris Algieri ? Pacquiao claimed ?I could see fear in their eyes.?
Rios himself admitted in one of his media interviews that ?I almost peed myself walking in the ring with Pacquiao.?
Pacquiao dominated Rios when they clashed in Nov. 2013 in Macau, China.
Against Algieri, Pacquiao told this writer that the former undefeated American fighter from Huntington, New York, looked so nervous when they faced each other atop the ring in Nov. last year.
The outcome ? a lopsided conquest highlighted by six knock downs en route to a unanimous decision victory by the Pinoy ring legend over Algieri.
And ? how about Floyd ?Money? Mayweather?
During the kick off press conference for the May 2 fight of the century, Manny and Money stared at each other down.
?I could see fear in Floyd?s eyes. His downfall looms on the horizon. This coming May 2, God will deliver him into my hands,? Pacquiao said.
Pacman said he?s not scared of Mayweather, adding that they can even fight without gloves.
?Many times I?d been into street fights using bare knuckles. I was never scared and I stood my ground,? Pacquiao said.
