LOS ANGELES ? ?Behind every man?s success or failure is a woman. My wife happens to be a woman of success.?

This was how World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao explains the successes he?s has been reaping in all the undertakings he?s involved in.

?How true were those words are to me, coming from the lips of wise men themselves,? Pacquiao said Friday when asked how his wife, Sarangani Vice Gov. Jinkee (nee Jamora) has inspired and guided him to survive the many challenges in life and succeeded in attaining his dreams.

?Si Jinkee and nagging inspirasyon ko nang piliin ko ang boksing para maging propesyon ko,? Pacquiao said while taking his dinner following another long and tedious day that saw him ran the perilous, hilly road of Griffith Park in the mountains o Los Angeles where he pitched camp two weeks ago in preparation for his coming big fight against American Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Later in the sme day, he travelled 30 miles south of this city under the heat of scorching sun to San Pedro Medical Center where he stayed or two hours to fulfill his commitment to the Nevada State Athletic Commission to have his eyes and blood tested in compliance to requirement before his 12-round unification encounter with Mayweather May 2 in Las Vegas.

?From the time we were married on September 10, 1999, luck started to smile at me from year 2000 to 2004 as I was 14 times unbeaten, 12 of them via KOs, including those against (Lehnohonolo) Ledwaba tht gifted me the IBF super-bantamweight title, against Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera and Farsan Thawatchai.

?Ang naging bahid lang sa record ko in that span was whe I kost by decision to (Erik) Morales in 2005. But I more than made up or that by beating him twice by KO the following year, the Sarangani Congressman recalled.

Pacquiao narrated the luck that brought to him by Jinkee was extended to their children. Four months after his first child Emmanuel Jr., (Jimwell) was born, Pacquiao relayed, he won the IB super bantamweight crown.

?Nadala ang suwerte ko okay Jinkee sa mga anak naming,? he said with a wide grin. ?Seven of that 12 K0 wins ko happended after Jinkee delivered out second child, Michael. My victories over such boxing legends as Morales, Barrera and (Juan Manuel) Marquez came before. During and after the birth o out two daughters, Princess and Queennie.?

?Of course, everybody knows that I completed by recovery from that twin defeats I suffered in 2012 to (Timothy) Bradley and Marquez in 2012 to the birth of our youngest, Israel last year,? Pacquiao said.

?And I also can?t forget that it was Jinkee, too, who brought me nearer to God,? he remarked.

?You know, first God, then Jinkee and our children, they are why I?m succeeding in whatever I do in the past, the present an even the future,? Pacquiao said. ?

With them behind me as reasons why I am very confident that I will win my coming fight because I am dedicating that fight to them in celebration of my 20th year anniversary as a pro.?

?I may sound like a broken record, but as I have been saying all along, para sa kanila ang labang ito at para sa mga kababayan nating mga Pilipino,? he said.
