OSAKA, JAPAN--World-ranked Rodel Mayol has reportedly flown to the United States to re-join his old manager Terry Carter and begin his quest for yet another world crown.

Rex `Wakee` Salud, in an exclusive interview here in Japan where he is set to be at ringside for the Randy Suico-Tomonori Nakagawa OPBF duel hours from now, said that Mayol flew to America unannounced where he plans to be based in his quest to lure big-money fights.

`Milupad na si Mayol sa America. Si Carter ang gadala,` Salud stated.

Salud also stressed that promising featherweight Mercito Gesta, who has been in the US for several months now but failed to get a fight, is now with the camp of superstar Manny Pacquiao.

`Ga kuyog-kuyog naman si Gesta nila ni Manny,` Salud revealed.
