Buffer.
Famous American ring announcer Michael Buffer is reportedly coming to the Philippines to watch the opening of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) on October 19 at the Philippine Arena.

Buffer is known for his already trademarked catchphrase, ?Let's get ready to rumble!? and for pioneering a distinct announcing style in which he rolls certain letters and adds other inflections to a fighter's name,

The 70-year old Buffer is said to be excited about two things: the Philippine Arena and Manny Pacquiao.

The Philippine Arena is the Guinness World Record-setter for the largest mixed-use indoor theater. It can sit 55,000, has a basketball coliseum, a 20,000-seater football and track stadium, a sports center, an indoor aquatic and tennis center, a hotel and a 600-bed hospital.

Buffer is also looking forward to watch eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao play for newcomer Kia Motors. Buffer has been the ring announcer in several of the Pacman?s fights. He has been announcing all boxing matches promoted by Bob Arums Top Rank on ESPN since 1983.

?We invited him personally to my PBA debut. We didn?t get his confirmation yet. But we are preparing a huge impact entertainment on October 19,? said Pacquiao, who is the playing coach of Kia.

Jake Joson, one of the managers of Pacquiao, has prepared a blazing entertainment introduction for the Kia team. Kia hired internationally-acclaimed Director Gorio Vicuna to direct the event.

?Our audio visual presentation will be a hit. It is similar with Chicago Bulls? and Michael Jordan?s AVPs,? added the excited Pacquiao. #
