CARSON -- For some reason, today?s? Golden Boy fights started at 1:00 PM during the height of the heat and the sun in this suburb south east of LA. So not too many of the media folks were around as the previous announced start was 2:00PM. Regretfully we missed shooting the first fight.

At any rate, a few of those who came early said Fabian Maidana of Sta. Fe Argentina blew out Philipp Soriano (0-0-4-0 of) Meridian, MI in one round.

Luke Campbell (7-0-0, 5KO) of Hull, UK followed with a sizzling 2nd round KO of a journeyman from LA, Steve Trumble (13-31-0, 8KO) Time was: 1:15.

Then in second fight Callum Smith ( 13-0-0, 10 KO) of Liverpool, UK followed suit with a KO of Abraham Hernandez (5-1-0, 3KO) of Monterey. MX. First round 2:59.

After a very long wait, the fourth fight came along. And, you guessed it. It was another KO albeit a little longer, if you can call it that.

Alan Sanchez, (14-3-1, 5KO) of Fairfield. CA took a round longer than the first three winners. It took him 3 long rounds knocking down Jose Luis Ramirez (7-1-1,4KO) of Tijuana, MX before finally ending the fight at 2:12.
