
BOYOSE TOPPLES BETOS IN TABUNOK

TALISAY CITY, CEBU- Ardie Boyose Singwangcha dropped Richard Betos twice in the opening round with a quick left hook. Betos gamely fought on but in the second round, Boyose?s left hook landed once again sending Betos down for the third time. Referee Ben Necesario signaled the end at the 1:46 mark.
Boyose, who fights out of the Flores Boxing Gym of Mandaue City, was awarded the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) super featherweight title.
He remains unbeaten at 11-0, 8KO?s.
Neil John Tabanao Singwangcha leaned on a steady body attack in the first half of the bout to beat Jhon Gemino by unanimous decision after ten rounds. The scores of the judges - Arnie Najera ? 98-92, Edward Ligas ? 98-92 and Ben Necesario ? 99-91.
Joey Canoy Singwangcha used his speed and accuracy to turn back the rugged JR Salvador by eight round unanimous decision. Salvador was deducted a point for repeated low blows in the 4th. The scorecards read ? Tony Pesons ? 78-73, Ben Necesario and Edward Ligas ? 79-72.
Boyose decks Betos and wins the Asian Federation super featherweight title Saturday night in Talisay City, Cebu.

Elias Joaquino beats Gary Rojo.
Kenny Demecillo won by TKO at the start of the sixth round against Rogen Flores who decided not to continue fighting. Carlo Demecillo beat a retreating Marlou Talili by unanimous decision. All three judges ? Nic Banal, Edwin Barrientos and Edward Ligas had it 60-54.
Elias Joaquino decked Gary Rojo with a hook to the jaw in the third round and Referee Nic Banal reached the count of ten at the 1:39 mark with Rojo still on all fours.
In the opening bout of the night, Fritz Cabilla knocked down Honorato Boc in the first round and won a four round unanimous decision. Scores ? Edwin Barrientos ? 39-36, Arnel Pasion and Arnie Najera had it 38-37.
This boxing promotion was held at the Tabunok Sports Complex in Talisay City and supervised by the officials of GAB-Cebu. The fights will be shown on GMA News TV.
