THURMAN-DIAZ UNDERCARD RESULTS

In the sixth fight on the undercard of the Keith Thurman vs Julio Diaz tripleheader at the Stubhub Center in Carson CA, Bryant Perella (4-0-0, 3KO) of Lehigh Acres, FL, wins by KO over Roberto Crespo (4-4-0) of Corpus Christie TX in the 2nd round. Time of stoppage is at 2:30.


The seventh fight was a "filler" so to speak between a Brazilian, Yamaguchi Falco who was making his debut and Francisco Najera of Tijuana, MX who was 0-1. Falco won by UD but the rookie announcer failed to state the scores. He merely announced Falco as the winner.


Fifth fight: Joseph Diaz of El Monte, CA (10-0-0, 7KO) remained undefeated with a wide UD win over veteran Luis Maldonado of Calexico, CA (38-12-1, 29 KO) Scores were all 60-54 from the three judges.



Fourth fight: Jermall Charlo of Houston, TX (18-0-0, 14KO) wins by TKO over Hector Munoz of Albuquerque, NM (22-13-1, 14KO). Munoz failed to answer the bell after the 4th round.



Third fight: Terrell Gausha (R) of Cleveland OH (9-0-0, 5KO) wins by UD over Charles Whitaker of Miami, FL (40-14-2, 24 KO). Scores were identical 80-71 from the three judges.



In the second bout, Frankie Gomez (L) of East LA (17-0-0, 13KO) knocked out Orlando Vasquez of Bayamon, PR (12-4-1, 6KO) in round 2. Time 1:51.
