Richie Mepranum will face Phupha Por Nobnom of Thailand in a ten round bout at the Oval Plaza in Gen. Santos City Saturday February 22. Former two division world champ turned promoter Gerry Pe?alosa informed philboxing that this card will be offered free to the public. There will be six more fights set on the undercard.
Mepranum (26-3-1, 5 KO?s) has a one win-one loss record against former world flyweight titlist Hernan ?Tyson? Marquez of Mexico. He also owns wins against the likes of Rocky Fuentes, Juma Fundi of Tanzania and Anthony Villareal of the U.S.
Por Nobnom?s boxrec record shows 9 KO?s in his ten wins ,with eight losses. He was stopped by Albert Pagara in two rounds in Cebu City in his first visit to the country two years ago.
This boxing promotion is supported by Mayor Ronnel Rivera and Tourism Chairman Councilor Shande Llido Pestano.
