Former PBL Commissioner, Sports Commentator and GMA7 Sports Head Chino Trinidad posted a goodbye statement to GMA on his Facebook page: THIS IS IT!!!! ADIOS GMA NEWS ---THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT YEARS...

Reports circulated that GMA axed Trinidad after he questioned Manny Pacquiao's sincerity in helping his fellow boxers, when he posted, *"**Nasaan ang sinasabi mo Congressman Manny Pacquiao na puso para sa mga Pilipinong boksingero* (Where, Congressman Manny Pacquiao, is your heart for Filipino boxers?)"

Sanchez, from General Santos City like Pacquiao, was supposed to fight Diego Magdaleno of Las Vegas at the C. Robert Lee Center in Hawaiian Gardens California this Saturday, but Top Rank Boxing cancelled his two fights.

Brico Santig, Sanchez's manager, said that Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, was the one who decided on the cancellation. Koncz is allegedly opposed to the fight because he wants managerial rights over Sanchez, who is handled by Highland Boxing and does not have any contract with Koncz or other manager/promoters.

The 22-year-old Sanchez expressed sadness over the cancellation, not only because of a lost income of $6,000, but also of a lost chance to improve his ranking.

Trinidad revealed that Koncz has already done this to Sanchez in 2012 when the boxer fought and won in two of Pacquiao's undercards in Las Vegas. Pacquiao's MP Promotions, run by Koncz, agreed on $6,500 and $7,500 purse in the two contracts, but Sanchez was only paid $1,357 and $1,500 (exchange rate of P42 to $1, the average exchange rate in 2012).

The fights were also not authorized by the Games and Amusements Board (GAB), the regulating body for the sport in the Philippines, so Sanchez's record shows only 12 wins instead of 14.

Sanchez went into a sabbatical after the unfortunate incident and left MP Promotions last year to sign with Highland Boxing.

Trinidad aired his disappointment with more FB posts saying, *"**Sa kanyang sanang ikatlong laban matapos ang semi-retirement ay target niya maka-break sa world rankings. Pero dahil sugapa sa pera ang alagang ulupong ni Pambansang Kamao ay naglaho ang pagkakataong ito *(In what was supposed to be his third fight after his semi-retirement, he is targeting to break the world rankings. But because of the greediness of the Pambansang Kamao's pet serpent, this chance disappeared)."

And to Pacquiao, he said, "*SANA LAGYAN MO NG KADENA ANG ASO MO! Kung sa iyo ay bale-wala ang kamandag ng alaga mo ay sana maisip mo ang kapakanan ng kapwa mong mga boksingero* (I HOPE YOU PUT A LEASH ON YOUR PET DOG! If the venom of your pet is nothing to you, I hope you think of the welfare of your fellow boxers).

GMA has not sent any comment or statement regarding the issue. #
