CEBU, PHILIPPINES -- WBO President Paco Valcarcel landed here last night as a special guest for this Saturday's huge 'Moment of Truth' card featuring WBO superfly king Fernando Montiel defending against local hero Z 'The Dream' Gorres.

Valcarcel, accompanied by Ratings Chairman Luis Perez, Grievance Committee Chairman John Duggan, Esq. and WBO-INT and NABO Chairman Richard De Cuir and other associates, touched down at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport at around 8:30 PM, and was immediately whisked away by a staff of promoter Sammy Gello-ani.

Valcarcel and his group then proceeded to the palatial abode of sportsman Antonio L. Aldeguer at the ultra-exclusive Maria Luisa Village, a gated community of this city's rich and famous.

Valcarcel met up with GBP vice president Eric Gomez, WBO vice president for Asia Pacific Leon Panoncillo, Tagbilaran City Mayor Dan Neri Lim, and matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz, as well as Lou Aldeguer, wife of Antonio Aldeguer, and members of the Aldeguer family and some invited mediamen and friends like Rolando Hiso of Chicago.

Also present were ring officials Raul Caiz, Sammy Viruet and Denny Nelson.
