Dodie Boy Agrabio, a native of Obong, Dalaguete but now based in Manila, will not hesitate to give some rude welcome to visiting fighter JR Sollano of Wakee Salud Stable when they clash this Saturday for the vacant RP super-featherweight title.
Agrabio, who said he has also many relatives from Argao, is scheduled to arrive at 11:30AM today from Manila as he prepares to win the RP crown in front of his relatives in Dalaguete in the main event of a card put up by the local government of Dalaguete headed by Mayor Ronald Allan Sesante and Vice-Mayor Andrade Alcantara, Sangguniang Bayan and Sangguniang Kabataan of Dalaguete.
The match-up pits the taller Sollano against the rugged Agrabio for the title vacated by Jimrex 'The Executioner' Jaca at the Dalaguete Sports Complex.
Agrabio has been training at the Main Event gym and the Wild Card gym, sparring against the likes of Eden Sonsona, Jack de Asis, Fernando Montilla, Vincent Cayas, Michael Correa, and a boxer named 'Boom Boom.'
In the chief support, ex-PABA light flyweight champ Marvin Tampus of RWS Stable takes on veteran journeyman War Bartiquel in a 10-round scrap.
Also set to see action is former national amateur team member Roel Laguna who will go up against the durable Melvin Ayudtud in the other 10-round bout.
The rest of the card pits Jimmy Siscon versus Jun Jamlan; RH George versus Jimbert Lamoste; Virgilio Silvano versus Gil Castromayor; and Christopher Antenero versus Romart Sentillas.
