
FARE?AS IN CASIMERO TITLE DEFENSE UNDERCARD

Michael Fare?as of the Pe?alosa Boxing Gym will face Kosol Sor Vorapin of Thailand on the undercard of IBF junior flyweight champion Johnriel Casimero?s title defense against Felipe Salguero of Mexico on October 26.
Former two division champ turned promoter Gerry Pe?alosa informed philboxing of this match-up.
The 29 year old Vorapin (17-16-1, 11 KO?s) is a former PABA super bantamweight titlist. The 29 year old Fare?as (35-4-4, 27KO?s) stopped Gerardo Zayas of Mexico in one round in Texas last April. This was his first win since losing a unanimous decision to Yuriorkis Gamboa in a WBA interim super featherweight title bout last December.
Fare?as also had a technical draw against WBA superfeathweight champ Takashi Uchiyama last year in Saitama,Japan.
Casimero (18W-2L, 10 KO?s) will be making his third title defense after beating Pedro Guevara of Mexico and Luis Alberto Rios of Panama. Salguero (18-4-1, 13KO?s) lost to WBO light flyweight champ Donnie Nietes last year at the Resorts World in Pasay City. Salguero beat Armando Vasquez by TKO in the 7th in his last outing.
This fight will be held at Makati Coliseum in Makati City. This title fight was initially reported to take place in venues like the Araneta Coliseum and Cuneta Astrodome but will now be presented by MP Promotions.
