UNDERCARD RESULTS FROM CARSON, CA: MAGDLENO, SAENZ WIN

CARSON, CA -- Super featherweight contender Diego Magdaleno (24-1-0, 9KO) of Las Vegas (L, top photo) bounced back from his defeat against WBO champion Roman Martinez in Macau last July by shutting out Edgar Riovalle (35-16-2, 2KO) of Mexico City over 10 rounds at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, CA. All three judges gave all the rounds to Magdaleno, 100-90.

Gabino Saenz (11-0-1 8KO) of Indio, CA won via TKO in the first round over Dominic Coca (8-5-0, 2KO) of Watts, CA of their 6-round scheduled super featherweight bout. Time of stoppage was at 2:27.

In the opening bout Matt Korobov (21-0-0, 12KO) of Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA via Orotukan, Russia wins via unanimous decision over Grady Brewer (30-17-0, 16KO) of Lawton, Oklahoma of their 8-round middleweight contest. Scores were 80-71, 80-71 and 79-72 all in favor of the Russian.
