BEVERLY HILLS -- Top Rank Promotions held the press conference at high noon today for the expected epic fight between WBO Welterweight champion, Tim Bradley (30-0-0.12KO) of Palm Springs, CA and Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1,40KO) of Mexico City.

The event was held at the posh Crystal Ballroom at the Beverly Hills Hotel along the famed Sunset Boulevard.

The multi-city press tour will end tomorrow June 21st in Mexico City and it will be carried by Azteca TV beginning at 11:00 am.

The Bradley-Marquez fight will be held on October 12, 2013 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. It will be co-promoted by Zanfer Promotions of Mexico and will be on PPV on HBO.

Both fighters came in today looking elegant in their business suits although Marquez appears to be slightly lighter than when he fought and knocked out Manny Pacquiao at the MGM last year.

Marquez in his short talk indicated that he is fighting Bradley because he wants to fight the best. ?If you want to be the best, you have to fight the best and Bradley being a champion is one of the best.?

Marquez further indicated that speed will be the key to this fight. ?Speed is very important to win this fight and I will train for that,? he said.

Bradley spoke longer detailing why this fight is important to him. He also said that he ?can?t wait to get back to the gym and start training for his fight.?

?I took the challenge because I know Marquez is an excellent fighter. I am not taking him lightly because he is good.?

Tickets for the fight according to Top Rank will go on sale tomorrow, June 21 beginning at 3:00PM ET/Noon PT. They are priced from a high of $800 at ringside to a low of $50 for the general admission.
