World title challenger Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello is in Dubai together with Jaro gym trainers George Sol, Romualdo Mahinay, stablemate Lionel Legada and promoter Aljoe Jaro. The team left for Dubai Wednesday night for their much anticipated world title challenge against WBC strawweight world champion Xiong Zhao Zhong of China.

Team Cuello arrived in Dubai 4:30 AM Thursday.

Promoter Aljoe Jaro informed philboxing that Cuello had an excellent final training session Tuesday at the Jaro boxing gym. He had twelve rounds of sparring against three boxers - former WBC flyweight champion Sonny Boy Jaro for 4 rounds, Jomar Fajardo for 4 rounds and finished with Lionel Legada. He will have his final sparring for 6 rounds in Dubai against Legada, who will also be fighting on the undercard. Jaro said that they have reached their goals as far as the total rounds for Cuello?s sparring is concerned.

Jaro said Denver will have no problem making the 105 lb.weight limit since it is very hot in Dubai and he?ll have no trouble sweating off the extra pounds. Cuello (33W-4L-6D, 21 KO?s) vs Zhong (20W-4L-1D, 11 KO?s) will be on June 28 at the World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
