Sor Singyu.
Thailand's Pungluang Sor Singyu, who conquered the Philippines' AJ Banal to win the vacant WBO bantamweight title last October 20 but lost it in his first defense against Paulus Ambunda of Namibia last March, returned with a bang Friday night by stopping Juma Fundi of Tanzania in two rounds in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand to capture the vacant WBO International Bantamweight title.

A dispatched from the ringside described Sor Singyu to be too strong for the Tanzanian. Pungluang's TKO victory came at 1:22 of the second round making short the duties of the three judges that included Salven Lagumbay of the Philippines and Thailand's Surat Soikrachang and Pichit Vongparamet. Third man in the ring was Sawaeng Thaweekoon, also from Thailand.

Sor Singyu improved his record to 44 wins with 28 knockouts and only two losses while Fundi dropped to 19-9-1 with 9 knockouts.
