FARE?AS GOES FOR KO AGAINST ZAYAS

Michael Fare?as of the Pe?alosa Boxing Gym will go for an impressive win when he faces Gerardo Zayas of Mexico in a non-title fight at the Frank Erwin Center, University of Texas in Austin, Texas on Sunday (Philippine Time) April 28.
During the official weigh in, Fare?as was at 132 lbs while Zayas stepped in at 132.5 lbs. Fare?as? promoter and former two division world champ Gerry Pe?alosa informed philboxing by e-mail that Fare?as will be going for an early KO.
Fare?as (34W-4L-4D, 26 KO?s) lost to the Cuban Gamboa in a WBA interim superfeatherweight title bout on the undercard of Pacquiao-Marquez IV.
Zayas (19W-21L-2D, 11 KO?s) lost in his attempt to win a WBC regional belt last year.
This Top Rank Texas card also features the ten round lightweight contest between Mexicans Raymundo Beltran and Alejandro Rodriguez.
