MACAU -- After impressive performances by the Penalosa siblings Dodie Boy Jr and Dave Saturday night at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Hotel & Casino here, Top Rank is set to take both of them under its promotional banner.

"Bob [Arum] told me he will send the contract for me to review," Dodie Boy Jr's and Dave's uncle, former world champion Gerry Penalosa told Philboxing after the young Penalosas' emphatic showing.

Gerry earlier told Philboxing that Arum showed strong interest on Dave only but right after Dodie Boy sent Thailand's Nimithra Sithsaithong flat on his back in the 3rd round, Arum changed his mind and told Gerry that Top Rank will sign both fighters.

Dave Penalosa (6-0-0 4KO) opened the 'Fists of Gold' boxing extravaganza headlined by China's two-time Olypic gold medalist Zou Shiming at the magnificent Macau Venetian Hotel & Casino and made short work of his Thai opponent Cheroenchai Sithsaithong knocking out the Thai at 0:29 in the second round.

Dodie Boy Jr (11-0-0 11KO) appeared in the 3rd match of the evening and after a brief period of uncertainty where the Cebu-native got knocked down in the opening round, Dodie Boy Jr got his bearings and returned the favor by sending the Thai to the canvas in the 3rd round with a body shot.

The Penalosa brothers, sons of former two-time world champion Dodie Boy Penalosa Sr, aspire to follow the footsteps highly successful Top Rank promoted Filipino fighters Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire, Jr.
