
PE?ALOSA BROS SIZZLE IN MACAU

MACAU - Dodie Boy Pe?alosa,Jr survived a shaky start and a flash knockdown in the opening round to stop Nimithra Sithsaithong of Thailand. The two southpaws entertained the fight fans with heavy exchanges but a left straight from the Thai sent Dodie,Jr down. He smiled as he got up and knocked the Thai down with a booming left in the second.
Nimithra continued his pressure, forcing Dodie,Jr to move and jab. Pe?alosa,Jr found the Thai?s weakness in the 3rd and hard right and left hooks to the abdomen sent Sithsaithong flat on his back. Time 2:54
Dave Pe?alosa knocked out Cheroenchai Sithsaithong of Thailand in two rounds in the opening bout of ?FISTS OF GOLD?. Fight fans were still walking to their seats when Pe?alosa decked Cheorenchai with a short left to the top of the head.
The Thai got up and the bell rang as Pe?alosa continued his pressure. In the second round, two short hooks from the southpaw from Cebu sent the Thai down and out for the count. Time ? 29 sec.
Paul Fleming of Australia pummeled and bloodied Ryusei Yoshida of Japan and scored a 4th round TKO win. Fleming opened a cut on Yoshida?s left eyelid in the second and the eye started to close as the Japanese continued to be at the receiving end of sharp combos.
In the 4th, the ring physician examined Yoshida?s eye and recommended the stoppage. Time 1:07.
