Martinez (L) and Magdaleno.
MACAU- Diego Magdaleno (23W-0L, 9 KO?s) will get his first world title shot this Saturday against WBO super featherweight champion Roman ?Rocky? Martinez (26W-1L-2D, 16 KO?s) at the Cotai Arena.

?I have been waiting for this for a long time. Finally, it?s here, I am taking it. I?m very excited to put on a show.? Magdaleno spoke with extreme confidence during the press conference held Thursday at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel.

?This title is mine,? Magdaleno said, ?It has my name written all over it.? ?I came all the way from Puerto Rico to retain my title. If you think I am going to lose, you are mistaken,? Martinez responded.

Magdaleno taunted Martinez by saying that ?your dream is over.? The southpaw Magdaleno has stopped his last two opponents, Fernando Beltran and Antonio Davis. Martinez was involved in two tough fights, a split decision win against Miguel Beltran and a split twelve round draw against Juan Carlos Burgos.

This Top Rank card features Brian Viloria (32W-3L, 19 KO?s), who will defend his WBO flyweight title against Juan Francisco Estrada (22W-2L, 18 KO?s), former WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (22W-2LD-1, 19 KO?s) will defend his WBO International belt against Yasutaka Ishimoto (21W-6L, 5 KO?s) of Japan and two time Olympic Gold Medalist Zou Shiming of China will make his pro debut against Eleazar Valenzuela (2-1-2, 1 KOs) of Mexico.
