In the supporting bouts of last night's 'Pound for Pound' card, world-ranked Bert Batawang showed why he is the world's hardest-punching junior fly with a scary one-punch knockout victory over Rey Orais in just a single round of a scheduled tenner.

Batawang unleashed a thundering right to Orais' jaw, sending the latter falling like a man who has just been hit by Cebu's notorious vigilantes at the 1:14 mark of the opening round.

Orais was immediately revived by ringside physicians Jose Unabia and May Derecho, and could not immediately return to full consciousness until about 15 minutes later.

Meanwhile, young upstart Mark Jason Melligen came back from a freak first-round knockdown to score a second round technical knockout over veteran Rex Marzan.

Melligen kissed the canvas for the first time in his career with a well-timed right at the dying seconds of the opening round, before charging back by cutting Marzan in the second with a legit blow.

The fight had to be stopped due to big cut on Marzan's eyelid.
