CEBU - The prospects billed as ?CHAMPIONS OF THE FUTURE? will see action this Saturday at the Panphil B. Frasco Memorial Sports Complex in Liloan, Cebu. This card will feature boxers who fought in the 2011 GMA TV Boxing reality series 'Buhay Boksingero'. Unbeaten prospect Rajah Renoel Pael (10W-0L-1D, 4 KO's), who topped the flyweight finals of the said tournament, will face tough Ryan Bongcawil (7W-5L-3D, 3 KO's) in a 10 round non-title contest.

Pael weighed 113 lbs while Bongcawil stepped on the scales at 116 lbs during the official weigh-in held at the Flores Boxing Gym in Mandaue City supervised by Rolando Mendoza of GAB-Cebu. GMA TV covered the weigh-in and will air the fights on a delayed basis.

The card's main event fighter, Gerpaul Valero, will face last minute substitute Jonathan Ricablanca. Valero weighed 116 lbs while Ricablanca was still on his way to Cebu from Bislig City during the weigh-in. He is set to be weighed at the GAB Office on his arrival.

Their fight is set for eight rounds. Valero topped the super flyweight category of 'Buhay Boksingero'.

Also set to see action on the undercards are Jayson Redondo Singwangcha vs. Elmer Colve (10 rounds) and Ardie Boyosi Singwangcha vs Jeffrey Jimenez (8 rounds). Boyosi is unbeaten at 5W-0L-1D, 2 KO's while Jimenez (5W-14L-2D, 4 KO's) is a hard fighting veteran who lost to Dodie Boy Penalosa Jr by 4th round TKO in a televised fight card two years ago at the Cebu Coliseum.

The undercards will also feature the grudge rematch between Sesustener Llanera Singwangcha vs Rodel Wenceslao (8 rounds). Wenceslao, a losing finalist in ?Buhay Boksingero?, lost by third round TKO to Llanera last year in Mactan.

Set to heat up the preliminaries are Neil John Tabanao Singwangcha vs Jun Ryan Quimbo (6 rounds), Kenny Demecillo Singwangcha vs Bryan Samson (6 rounds), Joey Canoy Singwangcha vs Keith Batolenyo (6 rounds), Belmar Plaza vs Junel Lacar (4 rounds) and Jonathan Francisco Singwangcha vs Nike June Quinaadman (4 rounds). This card is promoted by Rex 'Wakee' Salud and Naris Singwangcha of Thailand and sponsored by Liloan Mayor Vincent Franco ?Duke?
