Fight fans in Angono, Rizal will be treated to a night of explosive boxing action on February 17 when superbantamweight Jhunriel Ramonal Singwangcha of the Aljoe Jaro Boxing Stable of Binangonan, Rizal clashes with Festus Omondi from the East African country of Uganda.

This ten round main event will be held at the Angono Sports Center.

"This will be a tough fight for Ramonal," Promoter Aljoe Jaro told philboxing, "But he needs to fight tough opponents to prepare him for bigger bouts ahead."

Last October, Ramonal (12W-5L-4D, 6 KO?s) the Philippine super bantamweight champion, knocked down the world ranked former world title challenger Sylvester Lopez in the opening round of their title fight. But an accidental clash of heads led to cuts on both boxers in the second round and the fight was declared a technical draw.

Omondi (8W-3L, 6 KO?s) spent the early part of his career in his home country but had a fight in Thailand in 2010 for the Pan Asian Boxing Association (PABA) bantamweight title, losing to Thai Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat.

Set to appear on the under card is Lionel Legada Singwangcha and Jomar Fajardo Singwangcha who will be facing separate TBA opponents. This card is sponsored by Thai boxing patron Naris Singwangcha, GMA 7 TV and Mayor Gerry Calderon of Angono.
