Undefeated prospect Dodie Boy Pe?alosa,Jr will be fighting for his first regional title this March 23 at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City against Mexico's Lizandro de los Santos. The WBO Oriental super bantamweight title belt will be at stake in this bout.

The 22 year old Pe?alosa,Jr (10W-0L 10 KO's) scored an impressive win in his United States debut last December by knocking out Jesus Lule of Florida in two rounds on the undercard of Pacquiao-Marquez 4 in Las Vegas.

Dodie,Jr., whose father and uncle are former two division world champions, kept his unbeaten streak last year against two other foreign opponents, Superjames Singmanasak of Thailand by first round TKO in Caloocan City and Alex Buckie of Indonesia by ninth round knockout at the Mandaue City Sports Complex.

The 21 year old De los Santos (19W-10L, 7 KO's) has lost in his attempts to win the WBO Youth and WBC Mundo Hispano titles. He won his last three fights held in Mexico. Promoter and former two division world champion Gerry Pe?alosa informed this writer of this upcoming fight.
