DONAIRE EASILY MAKES WEIGHT WHILE ARCE STRUGGLES (Complete Weighin Results & Photos)

PlazAmerica Mall, Houston, Texas: Early this afternoon, Top Rank and its Associates held the HBO televised weigh-in for tomorrow?s big rumble at the Toyota Event Center in this city.

Nonito Donaire Jr (30-1-9, 19KO) of the Philippines, easily made the contacted weight coming in at a sizzling 121.5 lbs.

Jorge Arce (61-6-2-1,46KO) of Los Mochis, Mexico, came in at 123.25 on his first try and had to strip to his birthday suit to finally hit 122 lbs.

Donaire and Arce are fighting to for the WBA World Super bantamweight title.

The other results are as follows:


Jose Trevino (1-6-1,1KO) of Brownsville, Texas -151lbs. Sukhrab Shidaev (3-0-0,1KO) of Hollywood, CA ? 150.5 lbs

Rafael Casias (4-5-0, 0KO) of Keller, Texas-122.25; Tremaine Williams (4-0-0,2KO) of New Haven, Conn. - 123.5 lbs.


Saul Rodrigues (7-0-1,5KO of Riverside, CA 128.5; Pablo Brates (2-4-1,1KO) of Sonora, MX- 122.25 lbs

The first fight at the Toyota Center starts at 5:15 PM.
