PACQUIAO PRIMED AND READY!

Wildcard Gym, Hollywood, CA:- Top Rank Promotions held its last Media Day for eight division world title holder, Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao at this famed gym this afternoon.

The announced event was scheduled to start at 1:00 PM but given the usual chain of events that is typical in a Pacquiao training camp, it did not start until a little after 2PM.

Pacquiao came just after 1:00 but went straight to the cubby dressing room of this gym and held closed-in interviews with select media folks while he taped his hands.

When he came out of the dressing room and up the ring, publicist Fred Sternberg announced the rules for the event. To the old hands that come to this kind of event, they were monotonous but the rules were still appropriate because there were many new faces in the crowd leading a pundit to say- ?are these people really journalists??

Thereafter, Pacquiao went around the ring and answered all the questions from the media horde that crowded the ring apron.

After the interviews, Pacquiao played with the media people by posing and showing off his well-chiseled physique.

Looking at him from all angles, it seems that he is exactly were he wants to be at this point of the anticipated match on December 8th.

Marquez without doubt will be in for a long night if he does not do what he said he will -- knock Pacquiao out early in the fight.

But I doubt he can do it.

Pacquiao looks so good and he has not looked this good since I saw him last before the Cotto fight.

The anticipated mitt sessions with Freddie Roach was not done for some reason. But it did not matter much to the media.

What they saw in terms of Pacquiao ?readiness? was already enough.
