Three upcoming ALA stalwarts will showcase their wares in a sparring preview this Saturday, November 18, 2006, 5 pm, at the ALA Fight Club, Banilad Town Center.

Philippine No. 1 Miniflyweight Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes together with Along Denoy and Milan ?Melinyo? Melindo will trade mitts in an open-to-the-public sparring preview as they wind down their rigid training in preparation for the upcoming November 24 boxing schedule.

Nietes, who is slated to face Indonesian Heri Amol, will vie for the vacant WBO Asia-Pacific Miniflyweight title. Boholano native Along Denoy will face Aljun Salogaol while the power punching Milan Melindo will duke it out with veteran journeyman Rommel Bongon.

The ALA Fight Club, sister company of the world famous ALA Boxing Gym, has been offering boxing - exercise training to the public fashioned out of the same training regimen of its amateur and professional boxers since it has opened last July 2005.

Aside from providing boxing fans with sparring previews featuring their boxing idols, Fight Club also offers its members a chance to test their newfound boxing skills against some of the country?s rising pugilists in their Spar-with-the-Pro program.
