
MARTIROSYAN ? LARA ENDS IN A TECHNICAL DRAW; FULL FIGHT RESULTS

Wynn Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas:- The much awaited Vanes Martirosyan-Erislandy Lara super welterweight eliminator ended in a very disappointing technical draw Saturday night.
Martirosyan suffered a deep two inch cut on his left eyebrow as a result of an accidental headbutt in round 9.
Martirosyan led in the early rounds but Lara was finally able to run his counter left hook at will making him catch up in the scoring. In fact, one of the judges even had him ahead.
The scores were 86-85 Martirosyan, 87-84 Lara and 86-86.
There were talks of a re-match and Martirosyan stated that as soon as the stitches come off, he will be ready for Lara again.

Mikey Garcia took sometime to finally figure out Jonathan Barros. He finally dropped him in round 8th and Barros gave up. Time was 2:27 round 8th.
Anthony Flores won via TKO over Luis Hernandez .Time 1:03 in round 3.
Jesse Hart won via TKo over Joshua Meyers. Time 2:01 round 3.
Eric Flores won via a UD over Daniel Calzada Scores: 40-36,40-35 and 40-35.
Terence Crawford won via TKO over Sidney Siquereira. Time 2:47 round 6.
Andrew Hernandez droped Rudy Puga in rounds 1 and 2 and stopped him at 1:52 round 2.
Jesse Magdaleno stopped Jose Silveria at 2:59 round 1.
Brett Rather won via a majority decision over Avery Gibson. Scores 39-37,39-37 and 38-38.
