Wynn Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas:- The much awaited Vanes Martirosyan-Erislandy Lara super welterweight eliminator ended in a very disappointing technical draw Saturday night.

Martirosyan suffered a deep two inch cut on his left eyebrow as a result of an accidental headbutt in round 9.

The scores were 86-85 Martirosyan, 87-84 Lara and 86-86.

There were talks of a re-match and Martirosyan stated that as soon as the stitches come off, he will be ready for Lara again.
