WBO light flyweight world champion Donnie "Ahas' Nietes of the ALA Gym is slated to fight Danai Meendaeng of Thailand in a ten round non-title bout at the Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Center in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. This is a tune-up for Nietes (30W-1L-3D, 16 KO's) as he prepares for his title defense early next year against WBO minimumweight champion Moises Fuentes of Mexico.

Last June, Nietes beat Mexican Felipe Salguero by unanimous decision at the Resorts World in Pasay City for the first defense of his title.

Meendaeng?s fight record on boxrec only shows one fight held in the Philippines last October 29, 2011 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan where he lost to Cris Paulino by unanimous decision for the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental flyweight title.

Also set to see action is Jimrex "The Executioner" Jaca (35W-6L-3D, 20 KO's) who will face Jaypee ignacio (8W-14L-2D, 2 KO's) of Quezon City in another ten rounder. Jaca returned from a year long hiatus to score an impressive 8th round knockout win over Angel Martinez of Mexico last August at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel. Ignacio lost on points to Philippine jr.welterweight champion Adones Cabalquinto last August in Mandaluyong City.

Scheduled to appear on the undercards are Mark Vincent Bernaldez vs JR Mendoza (8 rounds), Crispin Parba vs Lyndon Castillo (4 rounds), Steve Ricaborda vs Marwin Cristota (4 rounds) and Ian Teves vs Jayvee Galea (4 rounds).

Meanwhile, the fight between "Prince" Albert Pagara and Thailand's Tawanrung Eausampan in Maasin City has been moved a day earlier to November 15.
