KONCZ SCOUTING BRANDON RIOS?

Carson, CA:- Manny Pacquiao?s point man, the Canadian Michael Koncz was spotted on ringside last night at the Donaire-Nishioka/Rios-Alvarado fight card at the Home Depot Center in this city.

Pundits agree that certainly, Koncz was not there simply just to watch Donaire fight Nishioka. He does not have any business with Donaire now or will ever have one in the future. That is a fact that is guaranteed!

Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that he is eyeing Brandon Rios for a possible fight with Manny Pacquiao in April 2013 in case the Mayweather fight does not happen.

Koncz just don?t go to see fights for nothing. He is a businessman, a shrewd one at that but he gets to get things done one way or another regardless of who gets hurt. That is why he is in the boxing game.

The odds of having a Pacquiao-Rios fight after Rios? scintillating stoppage of the previously undefeated Mile High Mike Alvarado of Denver, CO are now greater than ever.

In fact there were already subtle hints that it may happen.

The fight can easily be made since both fighters fight for the old man Bob Arum.

A Pacquiao-Rios fight would be an appetizing one.

And, it would be easy to sell.

Mexico versus the Philippines all over again!

Rios is a banger who comes forward to fight. If he gets hit while doing so, he will persist in moving forward in an effort to land his own punches.

That style will suit Pacquiao very well as he loves to bang with fighters who attacks without much regards to defense.

Pacquiao puts up better shows with bangers unlike with counter punchers like Juan Manuel Marquez.

So if lady lucks smiles on Rios, the kid from Oxnard stands to make his first million.

Not bad for the banger from hell.

Well, as for Koncz? He probably has done his homework and pretty soon he will be sitting down with his masters, Pacquiao and Arum and possibly make the Pacquiao-Rios as a ?go to fight? in case the money man from Vegas will ?chicken? again.

Stay tuned. It can only get better from here on.
