Manhattan Beach, CA. -- Today at the ballroom of the swank Marriott Hotel in this gorgeous beachside city, Top Rank held the weigh-in for the much awaited rumble between two time tested warriors, Nonito Donaire, Jr of the Philippines and Toshiki Nishioka of Japan scheduled tomorrow at the Home Depot Center at Carson, CA.

Donaire came in at 121.6 and Nishioka at 121.8 lbs.





The supporting main event fighters also participated in the mandatory weigh-in.

Brandon Rios of Oxnard came on the nose at 140 lbs while his opponent, Mike Alvarado of Denver, CA was a shade under at 139.8 lbs.





The rest of the weigh-in results are as follows:

Jose Benavides of Phoenix, AZ (143.4 lbs.) vs Pavel Miranda of Tijuana, MX (142.2 lbs.)



Jose Roman of Garden Grove, CA (136 lbs) vs Javier Garcia of Oxnard (135.6 lbs)

Ronald Ellis of Miami, FL (168 lbs) vs Katrell Straus of Denver, CO (169.2)
