FRANCISCO BLITZES VARGAS, LOOKS FORWARD TO BIGGER FIGHTS

Drian ?Gintong Kamao? Francisco knocked out Jose Carlos Vargas of Mexico in a single round in a fight held in Sonora, Mexico. Francisco decked Vargas with a right straight and punished the Mexican with body punches dropping him for the second time and a combination of body and head shots sent him down for good.
Promoter Elmer Anuran informed philboxing of the fight result and plans to have his prized boxer stay in the U.S. He hopes to have Francisco fight in the undercard of the unification match between Brian Viloria and Hernan Marquez.
The 29 year old Francisco (23-1-1, 17 KO?s) , a former WBA interim superflyweight champion, has won twice ? against Michael Domingo and Pichitchai Twins Gym ? since suffering his lone career loss to Tepparith Kokietgym in Thailand
